Privacy Policy

We collect the minimum information needed to run mentorship on Sankofa Mentorship Hub: account details, profile and goals, scheduling preferences, messages, and session notes you choose to save.

You can export or delete your data subject to the timelines below.

Account data: name, email, role (mentee/mentor), and authentication signals from your login provider.

Program data: goals, availability, match history, messages, and optional session recordings only when both parties opt in.

Support data: messages you send through contact or in-app support.

We use data to suggest matches, send reminders, improve product reliability, and respond to abuse reports.

We do not sell personal information. We do not train generalized AI models on your private messages without explicit consent.

Mentors and mentees see the profile fields required for an active match. Optional fields stay hidden until you choose to share them.

We may share limited data with subprocessors that host our infrastructure under contract and confidentiality obligations.

We retain account data while your account is active.

After deletion, we remove personal identifiers within 30 days except where law requires a longer hold (for example fraud investigations).

You may access, correct, or delete personal data from your profile or by emailing support@sankofaconnect.com.

You may withdraw from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link when that program launches.
